Jude Laws face is magically getting younger while his hairline moves forward
Many people have noticed that Jude Law’s hairline has been mysteriously moving forward over the past few months, to the point where he looks like his Talented Mr. Ripley self circa 1999. The people at Star have also noticed that Jude’s face is looking younger, too, and claim that the wrinkles and fine lines the 37 year-old actor used to sport are gone. According to a plastic surgeon they quote, Jude had some help from injectables like the Botox and Restalyne. He looks great and natural. I would get fillers in a heartbeat if I knew that they would make me look that refreshed. I’m skeptical, though, and will explain that in a minute. Here’s Star’s report:
Now that he’s back in love with much-younger Sienna Miller, Jude Law is trying to turn back the hands of time himself. Palm Beach, FL – based plastic surgeon Dr. Kenneth Beer tells Star it appears Jude “has had a filler like Botox in his forehead, but with restraint so he still has expression and a few lines,” as well as micrograft hair transplants to restore his hairline. But that’s not all. Dr. Steven Pearlman, a facial plastic surgeon from NYC who has also not treated the actor, suggests Jude has had a filler like Restylane or Juvederm to smooth out his lower eyelids. “This is how people should look,” notes Dr. Beer, “relaxed and younger, not stretched like a canvas.”

I’ve been looking at photos of Jude from late last year, and he doesn’t look that much younger to me. The comparison photo Star uses has Jude making a different expression like he’s incredulous so he naturally looks different and wrinkled before. (I tried to replicate this with the above photo, which is similar but not exactly the same as Star’s two comparison photos.) I think his face is fuller because he’s gained a little much-needed weight and not because he got fillers. Aren’t Botox and fillers usually much more obvious than this? Compare the above image to the one below, where he’s making the same expression in both pictures. It just looks like he’s gained weight, doesn’t it? He definitely got some help with his hair, though, and as a fan of bald guys I have to say that I think he looked better before. There was something more rugged about him. I’ve never liked pretty boys.
