Melania Trump Returns To Washington To Be With The Donald For Christmas Amid Shutdown And She Found
And just like that, Melania Trump was forced to cancel her perfect Christmas in sunny Florida and fly back to cold Washington to be with Donald Trump.
The former model and her son, Barron, left D.C. as her husband was fighting with Democrats over the partial government shutdown that is still ongoing.
Amid the backlash and Twitter rants from The Donald, FLOTUS returned to the White House less than 24 hours after leaving her spouse behind.
The news was confirmed by Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders who said in a tweet: “Due to the shutdown, President Trump will remain in Washington, D.C. and the First Lady will return from Florida so they can spend Christmas together.”
A source told Hollywood Life that Melania was not happy about the change of plans and added: “Melania is not at all happy about the last minute change of plans. She was really looking forward to spending Christmas in the sun and had already arranged so much at Mar-a-Largo that now has to be scrapped.”
The insider also claimed: “Melania didn’t think twice about flying back to Washington when Donald told her he would have to remain at the White House. There was no way she would stay in Florida and celebrate Christmas without him.”
According to the family friend, Melania is furious at the Democrats for creating this situation.
The source shared: “Melania really isn’t pleased, but she’s not angry at Donald. She agrees with his decision to stay put. She’s determined though to put a brave face on it and to try and make the most of Christmas that she can.”
However, it is being claimed that Melania has a heart, and it aches for all of those affected by the shutdown: “Of course, Melania feels terrible for the federal employees that will have to go without pay over the holidays, but she doesn’t see why her and Donald should be held accountable for something she believes isn’t their fault.”
The source concluded by: “The way Melania sees it Donald is doing everything in his power to keep the country safe and it’s crazy that anybody would have an issue with that.”

The shutdown is expected to last a few more days.
